The goalkeeper coach of the German national team, Andreas Kronenberg, has said at the ARD that Manuel Neuer is preferred over Marc-André ter Stegen. Kronenberg said he was happy with Ter Stegen’s strong performance at his Spanish club Barcelona.
The 36-year-old Neuer made his comeback last Saturday after a month of absence due to a shoulder injury. He survived the 3-2 away match against Hertha BSC by Bayern Munich without any problems.
